About Us

Bridge to Nowhere brings you the premium Whanganui River experience. With 5 generations and a lifetime of living, working and playing in the park our family have an extensive knowledge of the river tracks and their secrets.

We offer a range of holiday options at Bridge to Nowhere. From activities to accommodation, we have it all! Our range of services is ideal for the makings of a memorable holiday, for the whole family!

The Bridge to Nowhere Lodge is situated unlike anywhere you will have stayed before. Due to its remote location in the deep wilderness of the Whanganui National Park, we provide access by our jet boat service. We have many accommodation options available, including optional catering and a licensed bar!

You’ll love our lodge and the many things to see and do around it. Lodgers are welcome to explore the property and the many delights nearby, such as looking for glow worms and listening out for a distinctive Kiwi call. The skies are clear and unpolluted, making way for some impressive stargazing.

If you would prefer being closer to nature stay at our campground. We have new cabins, tent sites, hot showers and a huge camp kitchen.

If you’re looking for more exciting activities, we have them too. Take a jet-boat or canoeing tour and experience the Whanganui River from the best perspective. There are great mountain biking packages available and you’ll love the uniquely New Zealand scenic views.

So if you’re looking for a holiday with a difference, look to Bridge to Nowhere!
