Boutique children's hair salon, ' Kids r Hair' caters exclusively for babies and children of all ages. The salon is designed to provide a warm and friendly environment for both parent and child. Parents can relax on comfortable seating with a magazine and tea or coffee, while the children play inside or outside in the sunny fully enclosed courtyard. Babies are catered for with changing facilities, and there are specially designed hair cutting chairs to ensure the safety of the little clients. Karen's experience with apprehensive or reluctant children ensures a successful outcome, even for the most difficult littlies. There is no frightening hair washing, just a gentle dampening of the hair to provide a good hair cut. Mementos of the very first haircut are also provided. By being the sole hairdresser, Karen is able to build an ongoing rapport with the children, enabling mother's to say it's time to visit Karen, rather than it's time to get your haircut, a much friendlier approach, so much so , the children often don't want to leave. The salon is easy to find, near the Birkenhead shopping centre, with no parking problems. Open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30 am to 5.00 pm by appointment only.
